Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2025
This privacy policy describes how Figzer (“we”, “our”) handles information when you use the Figzer Figma plugin and the Figzer website (figzer.com and related pages).
Information we collect and use
Plugin (Free plan). When you use the Figzer plugin without an account, your data (folder names, file links, tags, and other metadata you add) is stored locally in your browser/device via Figma’s plugin storage. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.
Plugin (Pro plan). If you use Pro features such as cloud sync, we store the data necessary to sync your library (folder structure, file links, tags, metadata) on our servers so you can access it across devices. We do not store the contents of your Figma files—only links and metadata you choose to save.
Figma account. Some features (for example, file thumbnails) may use a connected Figma account. Use of Figma’s services is subject to Figma’s privacy policy and terms.
Website. When you visit the Figzer website, we may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for analytics and to improve the site. We may use cookies or similar technologies as described below.
Payments. Pro subscriptions are processed through Figma’s community plugin and payment systems. We do not store your full payment card details; payment data is handled by Figma and/or its payment providers in accordance with their policies.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Figzer plugin and website; to enable cloud sync and backup for Pro users; to respond to support requests; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data storage and security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data we store. Cloud-synced data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard practices. You are responsible for keeping your Figma account and any access tokens secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Figzer website may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, preferences, and site functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Third-party services
We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and payment processing. Those providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. Figzer’s use of Figma’s platform is subject to Figma’s terms and policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. You can clear local plugin data from within the plugin (e.g. Settings → Data → Clear all data). For cloud data or other requests, contact us using the details below.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the plugin or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
